Romans 8:28
God Works Towards Good
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
When we combine these verses we see that God is good, and only He is good, but what He created was very good, and what He works on is good...Everything started out good...Our Father has made all the things in creation, not only good, but very good...And we also know that in all things God works for the good who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose...The things that God has created are very good....This good continues in our lives if we see that in all things God not only made but works for and is involved in our lives -is good for those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose...
Believers read St. Paul, especially God's other Saints as St. Paul writes "And we know"...We know because we believe in God...We trust in Him and His ways in our lives...Since only God is good, believers, especially our Great Saints, know it is best for our lives to listen to Him...Our lives should be lead by the mantra I did it God's way, instead of I did it my way...
So are we called according to His purpose...How do we get called called to His purpose, so He will be in our lives working for all things good?...The Holy Spirit is our connection to God...The Holy Spirit in us, is calling to us, albeit sometimes very, very gently...The Holy Spirit is seeking His cause, His purpose and supplanting it, with a gentle voice, in our lives, if we are listening and if we love Him...The Holy Spirit is our intercession with God...The Holy Spirit is our love, and love connection to the Father...When our bodies, our minds, and our lives are in sync with the Holy Spirit, we love God and hear better His gentle whispers...
When we work "according to His purpose" we realize God has a plan, much more complex than our lives and what our minds can understand...We then trust in Him that He is I AM WHO I AM...He is I AM, which is the most Holy of Things, the Most Sacred of Things, the Holy of Holies...A name we call God and have never forgotten from the very beginning...We are following His will, and not our own...We feel that there is something bigger and much more complex than what we are doing...We will see the good in the things He created, and have faith that what He does in our lives is working for this good, according to His Plan...
