Mark 10:13-16
Little Children and Jesus
13 People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. 14 When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.15 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” 16 And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.

Faith, Hope, and Love Virtues
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Jesus said and teaches, "Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."...
Pure reasoning and logic and total intellect is not necessarily a good thing...Pure knowledge and intellect without faith, hope, and love takes our childlike ways out of us...Faith, hope, and love go beyond our reasoning and our logic...We need these virtues as a part of our lives...Where would we be without faith, hope, and love?...Where would the world be without these virtues?...
These are the three great virtues, according to St. Paul...To cease to have faith, hope, and love is not a good thing...To give up on your hopes, your faith and your loves is like a child giving up on his dreams...These three virtues make us more alive and make us more childlike...Faith, hope, and love help us see the Great Wonders of life, and help us better see the Divine Ones and the Kingdom of God...
