Maheen Mohammed is a mindfulness facilitator based in Karachi, Pakistan. She came across mindfulness practices in 2008 during a particularly turbulent time in her life, and found this way of meeting her experiences to be life changing. Maheen experienced such profound shifts, she was inspired pursue further training to learn how to share these practices with others. Maheen offers retreats, circles, and courses focusing on mindfulness, self-compassion, and connection. She is also one of the founding members and organizers of the Karachi Sangha and the Karachi Wellness Festival. Maheen remains committed to her own personal mindfulness and self-compassion practices, and considers herself to be a life-long learner. Maheen is a certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher and a Trained Mindful Self-Compassion teacher. She has also completed the Compassionate Inquiry professional training based on Dr. Gabor Mate's work, and has trained in therapeutic group voice work.

Session Description
In this unique meditative experience, we will explore our own voice as a powerful source of connection and well-being. By engaging in gentle somatic voice work practices such as humming, vowel toning, and harmonious blending of voices, we will feel the resonance and profound impact of sound within our bodies and the collective space. All voices are welcome - no singing expertise required.
