Be it ordained by the Township Council of the Township of Gloucester, in the County of Camden and State of New Jersey, as follows:
§ 53-1. Fire zones or lanes established.
The following described areas of the premises known as the Clover Store Shopping Center located between the Black Horse Pike, Coles Road and the North-South Freeway in Blenheim, Gloucester Township, Camden County, as shown on the plans thereof filed with the Township Clerk, shall be and hereby are established and designated as fire zones or lanes:
A. Fire Lane A: Beginning at a point formed by the north-westerly line of the above-mentioned building, and the southwesterly line of the said building, said point being the northwesterlymost corner; thence (1) northeastwardly along the northwesterly line of the said building a distrance of 169.42 feet to a point being a corner of the building; thence (2) southeastwardly, at right angles to the last course, distance of 40.0 feet to a point being a corner of the building; thence (3) northeastwardly along the northwesterly line of the said building and parallel to course (1) a distance of 378.00 feet to a point being the northeast corner of the said building; thence (4), southeastwardly along the northeast line of the building a distance of 189.42 feet to a point being the corner of the loading dock; thence (5) northeastwardly at right angles to the last course, a distance of 23.00 feet to a point; thence (6) northwesterly, parallel to course (4), a distance of 277.42 feet to a point; thence (7) southwestwardly, at right angles to the last course, a distance of 570.42 feet to a point; thence (8) southeastwardly at right angles to the last course, a distance of 48.00 feet to a point and place of beginning; being designated "Fire Lane A" adjoining the northerly and easterly areas of the Clover Store Building in Gloucester Township, New Jersey, as shown on the attached plan.
B. Fire Lane B: Beginning at a point being 1.3 feet northeastwardly along the southwest line of the building mentioned above, from the southwest corner of the said building, thence southeastwardly 10.7 feet, at a right angle to the southwest line of the said building, thence (1) southeastwardly, still running along the course last mentioned, a distance of 30.0 feet to a point; thence (2) northeastwardly with an interior angle of 111 degrees 03 minutes 17 seconds a distance of 69.64 feet to a point; thence (3) northeastwardly with an interior angle of 148 degrees 56 minutes 46 seconds a distance of 10.0 feet to a point; thence (4) northwestwardly, at right angles to the last course, a distance of 65.00 feet to a point on the southeast line of the said building; thence (5)southwestwardly, at right angles to the last course, a distance of 40.0 feet to a point, thence (6) southeastwardly, at right angles to the last course and parallel to course (4), a distance of 10.0 feet to a point; thence (7) southwestwardly, at right angles to the last course, a distance of 30.3 feet to a point and place of beginning; being designated "Fire Lane B" located at the southwest corner of the Clover Store Building , Gloucester Township, as shown on the attached plan.
§ 53-2. Areas to be marked; posting of signs.
The proper township officials are hereby authorized and directed to mark or cause to be marked the areas hereinabove designated as fire zones or lanes; and to erect "no parking at any time" and "no parking-fire zone" signs at the appropriated locations designated herein.
§ 53-3. Parking prohibited.
No person or operator of any vehicle shall park a motor vehicle at any time in the areas hereinabove designated in § 53-1 hereof as fire zones or fire lanes.
§ 53-4. Violations and penalties.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine of not more than fifty dollars ($50.) or imprisoned for a term not exceeding fifteen (15) days, or both, in the discretion of the Municipal Judge.
§ 53-5. When effective.
This ordinance shall take effect immediately after final passage and publication in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey.
