• Brownies are long lived, as long as their homes and communities are healthy. They can live up to 300-500 years.

• Brownies age slowly, maturing around age 30–50, and staying sprightly for centuries. 

• They retain a youthful appearance and energy well into old age. 

• They like to live in woodlands, forests, cottages, farms and glades. They don't mind villages but hate the city - they'd much rather be in the forest somewhere.

• Brownies are happy, helpful, cheerful, and creative.

• They tend to be kind and welcoming towards others, and are generally trusting. They regularly adopt all sorts of fae folk into their homes, families and communities.

Your Brownie character can have a few of these traits but doesn’t have to have all of them. Please feel free to put a unique spin on it.
