This is one of my greatest prides. To rise to the rank of Initiate, one must go on a quest that is indicated by a vision on one's 18th birthday. Some never have this vision, others never return from their journey....

I was sitting in the great temple of Necropolis on my 18th birthday meditating when I saw a bright light in front of me. I concentrated on it and suddenly everything around me blurred and everywhere was only glistening light. I wanted to move, but I couldn't - I was disembodied. A voice spoke to me that I should go to the basement vaults of the temple, where there was a portal that I should use. When I regained my senses, I immediately ran down and after some searching found a completely empty room with a pentagram drawn on the floor. I knelt down and spoke the runes to activate it. A black obelisk grew out of the pentagram and I walked through it. What happened after that I can't remember. The next thing I can remember is that I stepped out of the portal again. I felt that I had used up all my magical energy and my body was covered with countless wounds, but in my hand I held a sword. I looked at it and immediately a name appeared in my mind : "Ka'shuc". Looking around, I noticed that the entire temple council was gathered in the room. I was healed, washed and my mentor brought me the purple robe of initiation. I had made it...
