...We love Al'qasr. It is our most precious treasure and out most precious secret. There we reside, in eternal learning and more importantly in fine living, for how to live is the most important question. We muse in the serene pools and the tranquil courtyards, their walls adorned with murals. And of course our sacred jewel, which we are bonded to, which gives and keeps all that we are, exists there. This harmonious way of life and the place it is found sustains all that we need to continue on.
Our home is a large palace of white stone that lays beyond the blue waters of the Kha'labal; and so to enter it one must have each of those in token, one blue like the sea, one white from the sea. The hidden entrance is a poem of sorts which acts as a disguise so no mortal may enter, lying twixt our two faces in the known world. When we call ourselves home we face the coming sun and recite: 'Beyond the water that is blue and to the stone that is white I wish return'. And so the entrance is an ode to that----only passing beyond the stone of blue and white may you mirror what awaits. And in keeping with our subterfuge we return through smoke to symbolize deception.
