[Methods of Corpseraising]
I have easily mastered the art of raising fresh corpses. The technique of the brotherhood is simple, and effective. We brothers act as puppeteers, controlling the movements of fleshy bodies that no longer house a mind capable of twitching their own limbs.
The brotherhood's techniques only scratch the surface of necromantic powers I have developed. All kinds of powerful magics flow through the realm. Amongst them, the djinn and beholders are truly adept. Through study, it appears that spirits can be called back from the nether realm to return to their corporeal body. This form of reanimation does not restore the body to. typical function, but does once again reunite Uth and Akh. The energy required for such a ritual is, however, immense. I have almost expired my own life attempting to perform such a task alone. My djinn mentor, Fa'Hradin, seems to be intrigued by this discovery. With our energies channeled together, the possibilities are limitless.
Orcs tend to be easy targets for such a reunion. Weak minds... and strong desires... Ulderek's kin fathom only the corporeal: strength; treasure; conquest. There is no religiosity amongst them beyond the hierarchy of their fighting prowess. Even after death, their souls yearn to return to the corporeal realm to once again flex their muscles and satisfy their bloodlust.
The Daramanian disciples, however, seem to resist my rituals. I have not succeeded in calling such a soul back to this dimension, and instead can only act as the puppet master of their limp bodies. Casting aside their desires in this life shields them from their. grim return. If only there were something here they might be truly tempted by.
