Making change is not allowed.

If a patron needs to exchange a large bill for smaller bills, for example, to get a drink or a snack from the vending machine, they need to ask somewhere else.

The cash drawer only has $100 in various bills and coins and we generally don't need large bills in the drawer... especially since most of our fines are very small.

However, we will make change for  library transaction/educational purposes such as book store vending machine and adding money to their Texan card. 

Do not break anything over a $20.

When giving change back to a patron when paying for a fine, it is critical that you count back the change and give the proper amount of change back. We do not keep the change! The patron must take their change with them.
