Each team has a binder that keeps track of the tasks in the stacks. These are located in the reference / circulation area, near the supply closet.
Each binder is divided into four parts: Shelving, Dusting, Inventory, and Special Projects. Each of these parts have a log sheet, while Dusting and Inventory also have stickers to help be a visual cue to where people need to go in the stacks.
When you do your shift in the stacks, it is important that you fill out the log correctly and legibly so that your teammates are not confused. A good example of a log page can be seen below. When it comes to filling out the time portion, be exact. The "Section Start' will be where the previous person ended in the stacks. You will write in "Section End' the call number of the last book you scanned, dusted, etc. For that reason, be sure to take scratch paper and a pen/pencil with you to the stacks.
