Flyers and posters can be hung up in the library if they are for a Tarleton affiliated group. See the example below from the Dean of Students Administrative Office. Look for a Tarleton logo, that's a pretty good giveaway.
Any request from outside groups need to get approval from library administration (the main office upstairs). If you're unsure, ask a supervisor. If one is unavailable, ask the patron to come back a little later.
Flyers and posters can only be put on bulletin boards. These are located at:
The print station by the Collaboration Rooms
The print station upstairs
To the left of the reference desk
Between the upstairs bathrooms by the admin office
If you find flyers, posters, handouts, or cards anywhere else in the library, throw them away. Students have been known to put them on tables, walls, windows, bathroom stalls, cabinets, and in chairs. This is not allowed.
If you're doing count or your regular tasks and you think a flyer and/or poster shouldn't be posted, ask a supervisor. We'll assess and let you know.
