Satun 360
Partnership : OCAC Art Fund
CIS and the talented storyteller from Satun, Gump Krittanon, would like to thank the Contemporary Art Promotion Fund for supporting this immersive journey through Satun’s rich nature and culture, seen through the lens of 360-degree cinematography!
In this extraordinary project, visitors explored the Satun Global Geopark and learned about the fascinating way of life of the Maniq people through immersive 360-degree VR storytelling. At the “Satun 360” event, youth, elders, and the general public enjoyed a variety of interactive experiences that celebrated the unique identity of Satun: 1) Dive into a virtual reality adventure, travel through lush nature and vibrant culture as if you were really there. 2) Get hands-on with Satun’s living culture through fun activities like traditional tie-dye and making delicious local snacks. 3) Enjoy an open-air documentary screening on a stylish train carriage, showcasing the extraordinary culture and lifestyle of the indigenous Maniq people.
