CIS X SDI in Chiba

A Week of Discovery: Research, Lifelong Learning, and Our Friends in Japan 

CIS and SDI recently completed a meaningful week of collaboration with Chiba University, Japan, strengthening our shared commitment to global learning, social innovation, and community-focused research. The visit included an in-depth exploration of Chiba University’s Urban Bee Farm, where the research team introduced SDI to innovative approaches in beekeeping design, pollen analysis, and ecological education. This exchange opened promising pathways for future joint research and student engagement.

Our team also met with the Vice President of Chiba University to discuss the potential development of an offshore program at SDI Bangkok, expanding opportunities for international academic mobility and co-created learning experiences.

In parallel, SDI and CIS presented new research on Adult & Lifelong Learning at ACE2025, contributing regional insights to a global conversation on education transformation. Together, these activities reinforce SDI’s mission to advance knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and build future-ready learning ecosystems through meaningful international collaboration.
