Exploring Global Geopark Initiatives: A Journey in Langkawi at The 6th Regional UNESCO Global Geopark Course 

Asst.Prof. Karuna Kleubmongkol, representing KMUTT CIS and Satun UNESCO Global Geopark, embarked on an enriching experience at the 6th regional course on UNESCO Global Geopark in Langkawi.

This event was a meeting of minds, bringing together fellow UNESCO Geoparks from all corners of the globe. Amidst the breathtaking backdrop of Langkawi, fruitful discussions with strategic partners from Malaysia and Indonesia paved the way for exciting collaborations. Langkawi UNESCO Global Geopark, Toba Caldera UNESCO Global Geopark, and Satun UNESCO Global Geopark have united to spearhead three impactful activities in the upcoming year.

Satun UNESCO Global Geopark and CIS are thrilled to announce the commencement of the Geo Cultural Study within the Global Geopark context. With our dedicated research team in place, we eagerly anticipate the progress ahead!
