Human-Environment Interaction Study
Partnership : KMUTT
Studying the trends in changing work behaviors, driven by technological advancements and the pursuit of well-being at work, involves resource management to support user-centric work environments. It promotes behavior exchange and ideation experiences, as encapsulated in the idea that 'good ideas often start with chance encounters in the hallway and decisions end in the conference room.
This environment is divided into small conversational corners within various contexts, such as impromptu discussions at workstations or immediate seating for hallway conversations. Zoning strategies serve as the master plan for designing office spaces across different floors in the university's Office of the President building at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi.
BGH Brand Identity Design
Partnership : Ban Phaeo General Hospital
Studying and designing organizational visual communication for a forward-thinking institution, Ban Phaeo General Hospital, is an entity that is progressive in both management and public healthcare services within its community. This project seeks to gain a deep understanding of the various factors at play in the context of development to design a visual communication strategy that is universally accepted by all stakeholders.
Furthermore, it serves as a guideline that illustrates the community's commitment, demonstrating how people within the community can collectively drive the organization's global-level development in public healthcare services.
GOV LAB: Form of Message
Partnership : GOV LAB Project
Collaborating with water management agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, CIS engaged in understanding the shared perspective of communication issues related to the quantity of water used for agriculture by farmers outside the irrigation areas. CIS had the opportunity to leverage Design Thinking alongside government officials and personnel from various agencies to comprehend the situation and problems related to the perception of water quantity for agricultural use.
This initiative involved innovative communication strategies, including the classification of data providers and recipients, understanding the content and format of data, and conceptualizing effective communication methods. The project was recognized and presented at the ASEAN Conference: 'Toward a Citizen-Centric Civil Service - Government at a Glance Southeast Asia 2019 / Open & Connected Governance Event,' held on April 2-3, 2019, in Bangkok, Thailand.
GOV LAB: Communication Design
Partnership : GOV LAB Project
CIS had the opportunity to be a part of driving innovation for government agencies. In this project, CIS closely collaborated with personnel from various public health organizations, including hospitals, educational institutions, the Department of Health, and the Ministry of Public Health, among others. The objective was to understand communication challenges related to 'critical health information' during emergency situations to enhance the efficiency of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment selection for emergency medical personnel.
CIS utilized a Human-Centered Design approach as a framework to comprehensively understand the entire phenomenon. This approach involved proposing prototype designs and conducting usability tests to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of ideas. It aimed to build confidence in and provide effective directions for transforming these ideas into future innovations.
