This project anti-pattern is miscommunication between the content/technology expert and the rest of the peers. Usually, this happens when the expert forgotten to tone down and communicate at the level of equal understanding.

Symptoms and Consequences

• Ineffective meeting where hot debates and quarrels between the expert and the others.
• When the expert using the technological jargon where non-expert could not catch up and understand the concept.

Causes

• Content expert forgotten to level down their communication context to the level of peers understanding.
• The peers did not do the homework that drove the expert mad.

Refactor Recipes

• Observe and listen to both sides.
• Analyze the root cause.
• Communicate with the party causing the issue.
