Summary of ASCSU Employee Evaluation Initiative
ASCSU is implementing a structured employee evaluation process to foster a positive work culture and enhance internal communication. Through 30-day, 60-day, and 90-day post-hire surveys, new ASCSU members will be encouraged to share their impressions of the organization’s culture, their role satisfaction, and relationships with peers.
Regular Post-Hire Check-ins: At 30, 60, and 90 days, new employees complete anonymous surveys to help ASCSU understand how they are adjusting, how connected they feel to their team and their perception of the workplace culture.
Peer and Leadership Evaluations: Alongside post-hire surveys, all ASCSU members have the opportunity to provide anonymous evaluations of their peers and leadership. This peer-to-peer feedback system offers a balanced view of team dynamics and leadership effectiveness.
Community Feedback: ASCSU also invites evaluations from the broader student community to ensure that ASCSU members are serving student needs effectively.
Results Sharing: Key insights from these evaluations are shared in weekly meetings in a way that respects privacy and professional boundaries, keeping the focus on team growth and organizational well-being.
This evaluation initiative aims to promote transparency, continuous improvement, and a supportive work culture within ASCSU, allowing members to voice feedback openly and collaboratively enhance their work environment.
