RamBand Harm Reduction Initiative 

Summary: Our community has recently seen a troubling increase in incidents of people being roofied at local bars. In light of multiple reports we have received, it was clear that we needed to take immediate action. In August we secured 100 drink covers and 300 drink test strips to distribute to folks waiting in line at RamBand on Thursday night. We gathered a large team to hand out and ran out of resources within 15 minutes, indicating the event was not only successful but that our community is open to receiving these resources. While we recognize that this is a reactive measure that doesn't address the root cause of the issue, it is a crucial step we can take right now to help protect our community
