Angus Academy

Angus Academy is a partnership which will enable all of our secondary schools to increase opportunities and ensure equity for young people in the senior phase. The courses on offer will mainly be Advanced Highers for students in S6, but there will be some Higher Courses that S6 students can select. 

The subjects that are on offer will either run in column B or D. Column B will run on Monday afternoons and Wednesday in the middle of the day. Column D will run on Tuesday in the middle of the day and Thursday afternoons. Each column will have one face-to-face teaching session in the middle of the day and one virtual afternoon.

In most schools students will also have one period for independent work associated with the chosen Angus Academy course. This allows students to undertake elements of written coursework submission.
