The Skills for Work: Health Sector course gives you a hands‑on introduction to one of Scotland’s largest and fastest‑growing industries. It helps you understand what it’s really like to work in health settings—clinical and non‑clinical—while developing the employability skills that health sector employers value most. [sqa.org.uk]
This course introduces you to the health sector, including the NHS, life sciences, complementary therapies, and pharmaceutical industries. You will learn about the huge variety of job roles available, the values needed to work in health and care, and the essential skills required to support patients and professionals.

The National 5 SfW Health Sector course is made up of five mandatory units:
Working in the Health Sector

Across these units, you’ll:
