Hello Valor Family! With the year starting some changes have been put into place. One of the changes is that the yearbook will be run by students taking the new journalism class this year. Some important information to note about the new yearbook this year: 

• The yearbook is 10% off until September 30th.  Pre-order at www.treering.com.  The passcode to buy the yearbook through Treering is: 1015196645893006.

• As always, every family gets two free custom pages with the option to add additional spreads at 99 cents each.  This is a great way to document home days and other activities.

Valor parents & grandparents: The Valor Prayer Committee invites you to a time of prayer on Friday, October 4 from 8:30-9:00 am. We will pray over our school, teachers, and students!

Valor's 3rd annual, school-wide family picnic will be on Thursday, October 24 at 4:30pm. More details coming soon!

3rd Grade Field Trip

3rd grade enjoyed a day at Western Belle Farm in West. It was a fun day of learning about pumpkins, playing games, and enjoying the outdoors! 

4th & 5th grade Mark your calendars!  The Children's Concert is a symphony experience put on by the Baylor Symphony Orchestra (sponsored by the Waco Symphony Council) exclusively for local 4th & 5th graders.  It is a wonderful way to give students a taste of what it's like to attend a live symphony concert (and a chance to practice concert etiquette).  This year, the concert will take place on Tuesday, November 12.  There is more information for 4th/5th grade parents on the RSVP form.  If you haven't already clicked on it, please do so.  Mrs. Rucker will send out more information about logistics as it gets closer.
