This past week was filled with opportunities to connect and celebrate with our Valor community. It was great to see families at Valorpalooza and games this week. I love being a part of this community.
As we welcome November, we want to communitcate how grateful we are for your family. Below are the resources that we collected for family week and we wanted to make those available for the next couple of weeks. Our hope is that even in busyness of our schedules we cultivate space for family time, Sabbath rest and reflection on all the good things that the Lord has given us. I am excited to try Coach Fatzinger's award winning chili! You are a blessing and I am praying that in this season we would encounter the goodness of the Lord. Joyfully,
Mrs. Cornett

We will be discussing the first six chapters and even if you haven't read that far there will still be some great conversations around parenting teens! More details about location and food signups will be communicated via email!

This week, Valor kicked off some new traditions to celebrate our first annual Homecoming. In the classical tradition, a nostos is a hero's return to his homeland after a long time in exile. What does it look like for our children to come home to us, their parents? To God? To one another? Is there a new tradition your family would like to begin to make coming home a blessing instead of burden? Is there a way that Valor can support your calling as co-educator and discipler? Reach out! 💙 Mrs. Ramsey
Want to listen to something inspiring and educational with your kids? In the coming months, check out the dramatized story and music of Handel from Classical Kids' Hallelujah Handel while you're driving in the car. This quarter, classes have begun studying Handel's musical compositions and Bruegel's artistic masterpieces. Find new ways to connect with God through art and classical music! Below is Bruegel's Tower of Babel.
We love celebrating great literature in the Grammar School. One of our beloved room moms, Stacy Wensil, went above and beyond to make Charlotte's Web magical for Mrs. Pigg's first grade classroom. Thank you to all our wonderful parent volunteers!
