Dear Valor Parents,
It has been a joy to see so many of you in the halls and classrooms lately. Whether it's watching chapel poetry recitations, attending Parent/Teacher conferences, volunteering to serve our staff a yummy Thanksgiving meal, or praying during one of our monthly prayer gatherings, Valor parents go above and beyond in supporting our school's mission to provide an excellent education (in partnership with you) that is guided by a Biblical worldview, the classical tradition, and the University Model of schooling.
As the holiday busyness ramps up, I encourage you to take some time to breathe and to remember why you first signed up to co-teach at Valor. Homedays aren't for the faint of heart, and some days can be beyond challenging, but it's worth it! May our Lord's peace and strength sustain you and your families as you recommit your lives--your days, hours, and minutes--to be used by him in the discipleship and education of your children. What a privilege it is to be transformed alongside them!
As always, I have an open door, so please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
With joy,
Brooke Ramsey

Hot Cocoa for Good with Together for Good (Dec 5-7)
Caritas Food Pantry - Teens 17 years and older can volunteer on their own. Youth under 17 must have a chaperone present.
Mission Waco Thanksgiving Lunch (set up day before and serving day of) and other Mission Waco service opportunities like Mission Waco Toy Store (For processing the toys, they ask that children are 9 and older to volunteer and that you limit it to 1 child per adult.)
May God remind you and your children of His greatness and love in this season and give you hearts that overflow with thankfulness.
"I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth." -Psalm 34:1
Do you have a resource for talking to your children about the reason we celebrate Thanksgiving? If not, you might consider purchasing this one. It has been favorite of some of our Valor families and teachers.
