Dates to Remember
5/22 | Last Day of School!
Dear Valor Parents,
It has been a delight and joy to shepherd teachers, families, and students in the Grammar School this year. Whether you are ending the year with complete excitement, feeling uneasy about what lies ahead, or (like most of us) have a beautiful, messy mix of both, my prayer is that you are filled to the brim with gratitude and hope. We serve an awesome God who doesn't withold good things from His people, even if those good things appear not-so-good to us at the time.
I can honestly say that I consider it a pure privelege to serve alongside such gifted administrators who love the mission and vision of our school. We will be working hard this summer, imagining new ways to communicate the love of Christ to your students and to lay a feast of the good, true, and beautiful for thier hungry minds.
Here are some things we are excited about:
Spreading out! 3-5th grades will be in the village with outdoor lunch. There will also be more space for pull-outs and movement breaks for all grades.
Only one grade on the playground at a time for recess! The lower student-to-aide ratio affords ore discipleship through friendship and play struggles.
A new grammar curriculum in 4th and 5th grades more aligned with Logic School! See the Summer Packet for details.
Continued commitment to parent partnership with renewed emphasis on equipping for Christ-centered, restful homedays. Mark your calendars for fall training!
With joy,
Brooke Ramsey
