Please RSVP for Grandparents' Day Here. We require 100% RSVPs from our families. If you do not have a grandparent that is able to attend, you are welcome to invite a special guest like a trusted family friend or neighbor. We will also have two beloved former teachers subbing as grandparents that day for any unaccompanied students. If you have any questions about this event please email Heather Johansen at heather.johansen@valorprep.com.
Dear Valor Parents,
We loved welcoming all your incredible students back on campus after Spring break and hearing their stories of adventure, get-aways, and staycations.
Can you believe it's the last quarter of the school year? We've begun reciting our new scripture, James 1:2-12, and are continuing to meditate on our crucified Lord through this month's hymn, "Oh Sacred Head Now Wounded." 2nd-5th graders have begun reading Archimedes and the Door of Science and preparing for the Living History Museum, and our admin team is busy planning a meaningful Grandparents Day which will feature Norman Rockwell's art.
Recently, St. Patrick's Prayer has been close at hand. In chapel, we all recited it with motions. In these busy months leading up to summer, may we each experience the supernatural nearness of Christ.
As always, I'd love to hear from you if you have any suggestions or concerns about your child's discipleship or education.
With joy,
Brooke Ramsey

Valor Preparatory Academy
Ms. Ari Sidwell joing the Valor Grammar School team this last Fall as the Classroom Aide to Mrs. Franks. She has been an incredible addition to our team and we are thrilled that she will be stepping up into the teaching role this coming school year as a 3rd Grade Classroom Teacher!
A note from Ms. Sidwell:
"Hi, I am Ari! A little bit about me, I am an Aggie (whoop!), grew up in San Antonio, and love all things travel. As a teacher, I value creativity and critical thinking and so thankful for the ways Valor cultivates both in the students. I can’t wait to be a part of it in a new way next year as a grammar school teacher!"
Bring donations from now until April 27th (extended)! If our students can bring in at least 300 items they will be rewarded with popcicles on the playground!!
This summer, 1 in 5 children in Waco may not know where their next meal is coming from, YOU can change that.
By joining the Hunger Hero Challenge, you’re helping Shepherd's Heart feed Waco's homeless and at‑risk children during the Summer months.
Last year, with the support from the Hunger Hero Challenge, Shepherd's Heart was able to serve 133,544 families — nearly 500,000 people — including 42,475 children through their school food programs.
These aren’t just numbers. They’re lives touched by the love of Christ — through your generosity.
Fabled will be hosting the book fair portion of Grandparents Day again this year, along with an additional book fair day the day before on Thursday, April 9th 2 - 5 PM. Parents are welcome to bring their students that day for early bird shopping of the wonderfully curated selections we will have.
