For this project, we were assigned to create a collage using magazines, newspapers, printed text, etc. Once we created the collage, we were assigned to then paint the exact collage on a separate piece of paper, trying our best to match the textures, colors, etc. The materials I used were paint and paint pens.

The elements of art I used were color and I tried to incorporate texture, but as you can see that didn't work out very well. I tried my best to match the colors, but I obviously struggled quite a bit. Even though my collage was very simplistic, I still had trouble with creating it. I tried to add highlights and texture markings where they were needed, for example, on the flowers and butterflies.

I'm not super happy with how my final project came out, but I wasn't a huge fan of the project either, which isn't an excuse, but it definitely did affect how much care and effort I put into this one. If I were to do this again, I would've created this again, a way more detailed collage with more colors that I liked.
