Donate Life Design

For this project, we were assigned to create a poster for the Maine Transplant Program with some kind of saying including the saying, "organ and tissue donation." I was inspired by a few others I had seen involving hearts, so I wanted my saying to have something to do in relation to hearts.

The materials I used were colored pencils and sharpies. At first, I was going to outline the heart in black, but I turned out to like it more without an outline.

The process I went through creating my work as I was debating on doing two different pieces, one including a sunset with some kind of saying, or doing this one. I chose this one because it was less time-consuming than how I would've done the other one; because with other homework and work I don't always have a lot of time.
