This is current information for Winter 2026 and Spring 2027.
Do not copy content from a Blackboard Learn course shell into Blackboard Ultra shells. Copy only Blackboard Ultra courses to Blackboard Ultra courses. If you need assistance, contact Scott, Shantay, Marisha, or Kyle.
All courses are now taught in Blackboard Ultra.
Please do not wait until the last minute. Pay special attention to campus curtailment dates and term start and end dates, as these are peak support periods for both Online Learning and CITL.
Copy your Ultra course to your Winter/Spring course shell. See the course copy video for instructions.
Update your syllabus and dates, and make any other necessary course adjustments.
Note:
If you are teaching more than one section of the same course, you can make your updates in one section, and then copy section to section.
Important: do not make Winter/Spring updates in your Fall course shell.

If you have already taught the course in Ultra, you do not need another Forced Conversion shell.
If you teach multiple sections, you probably only need one Forced Conversion shell.

This form is the only method to request a Forced Conversion/ Ultra Development shell

Requests are processed within 2 business days, if not sooner.
If you have not received your requested Forced Conversion/ Development shells within 2 business days, please email online@stcc.edu.
CITL cannot expedite or manage the processing of your request(s).
