Welcome Back from Residentials!

This afternoon, we were delighted to welcome back our KS2 students, who have all been out exploring the wider world on their residential trips:

Year 5 – Kanchanaburi
Year 4 – Khao Yai
Year 3 – Samut Songkhram

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Year 1 and Year 2 enjoyed a wonderful day trip to Farm Lung Uan.

International Day 2026 – Get Involved!

International Day is once again on the horizon, and we're inviting parents to help us plan this exciting event on our school calendar.

Fire Drill Success

On Monday, we held a whole-school fire drill, and we're pleased to report that the entire school evacuated safely to the assembly point on the playing field next to the pool in just 3 minutes – well done, everyone!

A reminder to parents and visitors: If you happen to be in school during a fire drill and hear the alarm, please head straight to the assembly point via the shortest route. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping everyone safe.

Science Week 2026

This year’s theme, “Curiosity: what is your question?”, encourages our students to think like scientists by asking questions, exploring ideas, and discovering how the world works. Throughout the week, students will take part in a range of engaging, hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.

Get Ready, Samakee! Book Week is Coming!

We are thrilled to announce that Samakee Book Week is officially on the horizon! Mark your calendars for a week-long celebration of stories, imagination, and literacy from April 20th to 24th.

We’re crafting a week full of inspiration that will bring your favourite stories to life.

The grand finale of our celebration will be our Character Dress-Up Day! It’s time to start thinking about which literary hero, villain, or magical creature you’ll be channelling on the final Friday of the event.

We can't wait to celebrate the magic of reading with all of you!

Teaching and Learning Highlights!

Farm Time Fun in Early Years

Our Reception and Early Years children have been busy exploring and learning through hands-on experiences during Farm Time!

The children enjoyed feeding the ducks and goats, learning how to care for animals and understanding their needs. They also helped to cut plants to feed the animals, developing responsibility and confidence while engaging with the natural environment.

In the mud kitchen, the children used their imagination to cook and create recipes, mixing natural materials and engaging in rich sensory play. We also saw fantastic teamwork as children worked together to create a flowing river, exploring how water moves and experimenting with different ways to guide its direction.

These experiences support children’s development across many areas, including communication and language, understanding the world, physical development and personal, social and emotional development. Most importantly, the children were curious, engaged and full of excitement as they explored the world around them.

Upper School - Yarn Club

Our Yarn Club students have been busy developing their creativity and patience through the art of crochet. From learning basic stitches to creating their own colourful designs, students are building confidence and fine motor skills with every project.

It has been wonderful to see their focus and determination as they work together, share ideas, and support one another. Their finished creations are full of personality and show just how much progress they have made.

A fantastic example of creativity, collaboration, and learning beyond the classroom!

Swimming Success

Congratulations to our young Stingers at the weekend. We had students from Year 5, Year 6 & Year 7 competing across Greater Bangkok! 2 Long Course competitions - Brighton College and The Martin's Cup! Well done to all!

Congratualtions to one of our Year 9 students. They have acheived Artist of the week!

Safeguarding Spotlight: This month, we're focusing on how children can support each other and build a school community where everyone feels safe, valued and respected.

Safeguarding Insight: Respecting Each Other

Everyone has the right to feel safe. We teach pupils about healthy relationships and what to do if someone hurts or upsets them. Remind your child they can always talk to a trusted adult at home or in school.
