12th June 2026
Dear Samakee Community,
As we reach the final day of the 2025-26 academic year, I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for making this such an excellent year at Samakee.
We have so much to be proud of:
Our very positive EDT/BSO inspection recognised the exceptional work of our staff and the remarkable progress of our pupils. Please watch for the full report, which will be published on our website as soon as we receive it from the UK Department for Education (DfE) in July.
The continued growth and development of our SEND provision, ensuring every child can thrive
Our wonderful Forest Farm, which has provided countless opportunities for learning, reflection and connection with nature
The talent, creativity and enthusiasm shown by our pupils in everything from our swim gala, productions, Art Exhibition, to our spectacular Talent Show
The strong partnerships we have built with families, based on trust, communication and our shared commitment to nurturing every child
As always, the end of the year brings farewells. We say goodbye to students and teachers who have been such an important part of our Samakee family. Whether you are moving to new schools, new countries, or new adventures, please know that you will be greatly missed and that you will always have a place in our hearts. We wish you all the very best for the future, wherever that may take you. You have left your mark on our school, and we hope we have left our mark on you.
In August, we look forward to welcoming new teachers and students to our community. We can't wait to see how they will contribute to our school and to share with you what makes Samakee such a special place – our values of being Safe, Mindful, Kind and Engaged, and our belief that 'the school adapts to the child, not the child to the school'.
Whether you're travelling, relaxing at home, or exploring new hobbies, we hope you have a wonderful holiday filled with happiness and adventure.
We'll see you back in August, ready for another fantastic year together!
