Movie Night 2026
A Big Thank You to Our Parent Volunteers!
A huge thank you to all our wonderful parent volunteers who have worked so hard preparing for tonight's Movie Night!
Your time, energy and enthusiasm have been incredible, and it's clear that tonight is going to be a fantastic event for our students. We couldn't do it without you!
We hope our families and staff have a wonderful time this evening!
Soft Toy Maths Event
On Wednesday, students had a wonderful time at our Soft Toy Parade, proudly showing off their cuddly companions together in the garden. It was a beautiful day for a picnic, and the whole school came together at snack time to enjoy a joyful picnic in the sunshine.
After the celebrations, learning continued with a range of exciting Maths activities inspired by their soft toys. Students collected and recorded data, measured their toys’ height, leg length and weight, compared their toy’s height to their own, calculated mean, median and mode, drew scale diagrams and worked out scale factors. There was plenty of thoughtful discussion, problem solving and teamwork throughout the day.
A fantastic mix of fun and meaningful learning for everyone.
We hope our Upper School students and teachers have a wonderful time on next week's residential adventure, and we look forward to hearing all their stories when they get back!
When - 16 February 2026 - 20 February 2026 (Monday - Friday)
Where - Khao Yai Experiential Eco Learning Centre - located in the Wang Sai Pak Chong District - Nakhon Ratchasima. The centre is set on a hillside with about 10 hectares of farm, grassland and forest and with lovely views across the adjacent valley to the hills of Khao Yai.
EYFS Farm: Fire Safety and Cooking
Our students practised their ‘managing risk’ skills by cooking sausages over an open fire. They followed safety boundaries carefully and showed great patience while waiting for their food to cook.
A real highlight of the farm visit – and it tasted as good as it looked!
Year 1 - Sugar Cane
Our Year 1 students explored how sugar cane grows and discovered its journey from the field to the factory. They learned about the different stages of growth, what plants need to thrive, and how sugar is produced.
The experience sparked curiosity, thoughtful discussions, and even included a tasting of fresh sugar cane juice, a sweet way to bring learning to life!
Middle School - Children’s Mental Health Week
This week is children’s mental health week and this was the focus of our assembly today. We talked about what mental health is and how we can use strategies to have a positive mind set and calm ourselves down when we are feeling angry or frustrated.
The theme this year for children’s mental health week is ‘this is my place’. We talked about belonging and why this is so important. The children discussed where they feel they belong (family, friendship group, clubs) and how they can help others feel included.
If you would like to as an extra activity, create a piece of artwork titled ‘This is my place!’ And fill it with all the things you love or draw a place where you feel the most comfortable and happy to be yourself!
Upper School - Saving Energy 101 Workshop Assembly
Our Upper School students participated in a Saving Energy 101 workshop led by Mr. Takahiko Honda from Econok. The session highlighted the importance of energy conservation, practical ways to reduce energy consumption, and how small daily actions can make a meaningful impact on climate change. Students demonstrated strong environmental knowledge and were encouraged to turn awareness into action.
