Dear Samakee Community,

Did you know our amazing House busts of Einstein, Nightingale, and Shakespeare are made from recycled computer parts? They stand in our lobby as a daily reminder of the creativity and teamwork that powers our school. It’s this same energy and sense of belonging that we see every day.

At Samakee, our school community is built on a strong House system that fosters pride, teamwork, and a sense of belonging. Our three houses—Einstein (Red), Nightingale (Blue), and Shakespeare (Green)—play a vital role in creating a positive and supportive environment where every child feels valued.

The House system encourages students to develop their individual strengths and work together. Points are awarded for a wide range of activities and positive behaviour, from academic achievements to acts of kindness. This friendly competition motivates our students to get involved in all aspects of school life.

To ensure every family is connected, siblings are automatically placed in the same house. This structure encourages students of all ages to collaborate and support each other, building a cohesive community across all year groups.

Your child can show their House pride by wearing their House T-shirt every Friday and at special House events, such as Sports Day. T-shirts are available for purchase at the School Shop.

Mark your calendars! We have three exciting House events planned for this term with more updates coming soon:

We look forward to seeing our students shine in their House colours!
