What is Boomi?

Personally I got to know this product when I was about to be assigned into Boomi project. I was told by the resourcing team that the project requires a consultant with Boomi skillset actually, but since there is no such experienced resource available, project is willing to take those consultants with PI experience instead. So, that is how I become Boomi Integration consultant after doing SAP for almost 16 years.

If you visited Boomi website http://www.boomi.com, they claim the product to be the best integration platform as service available to the market. At least this what is mentioned in their official web site.

At the first look, Boomi integration process looks quite complicated, with many steps and configuration to be done. However actually Boomi IDE is quite intuitively designed so that any consultant with some integration experience before should be able to pick it up without much difficulties.
