As discussed in the previous article on adhoc agent assignment, there are 2 techniques possible to assign agent at runtime. In this document, we are going to focus the adhoc agent assignment through wizard, which allow the agent of the predecessor step to determine the agent in the next step.
1. Make sure the cursor is on the step where adhoc agent assignment to be done, while you choose the wizard: Include "Select Editor".
2. The wizard will come out and we just need to follow through and answer some questions to complete the wizard
3. Just like the adhoc function, the workflow container element will be created to store the adhoc agent chosen by the predecessor step.
4. Additional step TS30200146 which allow a user to choose adhoc agent will be added prior to the step chosen in step 1.
5. The responsible agent for the chosen step will be populate with the workflow container element
How do we assign the agent at runtime? As mentioned in step 4, there will be additional work item created at the user inbox to choose the agent, as depicted below:
