My son, who is going to be eleven this October, has requested us to buy him roller blades in many occasions. My wife and I have been looking around for the roller blades in several malls around KL, but eventually think it may NOT be the right form of exercise for my son. The roller blade itself is NOT cheap (More than RM500), and at the same time, it may NOT last long enough for him to play. I remembered when I bought him a pair of shoes (size 41) like 6 months ago and now he has complained it is too small for his foot!
Last Saturday, we ended up buying a bicycle for him instead. He seems to be very enjoying the moment, until he tried to ride on it. It's not as easy as he thought; even to balance himself on the bike is taking so much effort! I kept reminding him NOT to give up, "if it's NOT today, probably just few more days from now, you will be able to ride a bicycle just like any other kids". Hopefully, his excitement will last long enough until he can ride a bicycle properly :)
Keep trying and never give up boy!
Life is beautiful! Let's make it meaningful and colorful!
