Those who want to learn graphic design, which is fast becoming an essential, beneficial skill, can do so by using one or few of these software available in the market. Some of them are paid applications, while some can be downloaded legitimately for free. The following are a few of the best graphic design programs:

Adobe Photoshop
The name that has become synonymous to photo editing, Adobe Photoshop is one of the easiest to learn because of its revolutionary interface that keeps on improving in every release. There are also plenty of tools and features that other software do not have. And because Photoshop is famous, there are numerous tutorials available online.
GIMP
GIMP, which stands for GNU Image Manipulation Program, is the most ideal alternative to Photoshop – and it comes free and is available in different operating systems, including Windows and Mac. GIMP not just offers almost every tool that Photoshop has, it is also known for having minimal compatibility issues and for having a strong support community.
CorelDraw
CorelDraw has functions that rival Photoshop; and since CorelDraw is a vector graphics editor, it offers more choices for graphic designers. However, it can take a lot of time and effort for beginners to master this program.
