My name is Ram Chary Everi, and I’m currently based in Boston. In 2014, I graduated from the Boston University with a degree in fine arts in graphic design. These days, I am working as a freelance photographer and graphic designer. To build up my portfolio, I cover events such as weddings and birthday parties. I also take promotional and product shots. To make use of my background in graphic design, I design logos, marketing ads, magazines, business cards, and graphic art.
After a stressful week at work, I usually spend the weekends in the Northeast with a boat I inherited from my dad. Having grown up in Boston, I learned the ropes in tuna fishing at a young age. These days, I go fishing for tuna mainly as a way to recharge myself and have fun.
I also support Oceana, a nonprofit that educates people on how they can start living sustainably to have a better city. At first, I wasn’t so big on going green, but when I read one of the materials, I realized the need to modify some of my habits. Recycling may be a common thing in our community, but it’s more than just setting apart the reusable stuff. It’s also about maximizing resources and creating sustainable means to reduce damage to our surroundings.
