Barack and Michelle Obama met with Prince William and his wife

U.S. President Barack Obama began Tuesday in the UK visit by meeting with Prince William and his wife, before trying to revitalize the "special relationship" Anglo-American.

American leader to be received by British Prime Minister David Cameron in Downing Street on Tuesday evening, after which he will meet with opposition Labour leader David Miliband.

Serious things will really begin Wednesday with a formal meeting between Barack Obama and David Cameron, during which it will discuss the situation in Afghanistan and Libya and the Middle East peace process.

The two leaders will focus on "essential relationship" between the two countries.

"When the United States and Britain made common cause, our people are safe and the world and become more prosperous. Our relationship is not just a special, but is an essential for us and the world, " say the two leaders.

Obama will deliver a speech Wednesday in the British Parliament, after which it will travel to France.
