Jeanswear Standard Pocket Types

Both Types of Standard Front Scoop Pockets

Ease is always put into the Front Pocket opening using either of the Above Methods.

The 'Amount of Ease' relates to the Waist Shaping and Front Hip Bone Allowance normally accommodated by a 3/8in (1cm) Front Dart on other Tailored Bottoms Garments.

The 'Smooth Side Seam' method produces the best result as it does not produce any bumps on the side seam.

Traditional Watch or Cash Pockets are normally found on more expensive Jeans but are more common now with low cost production available.

Taking the Pocket Bags into the Fly is used to both control the Pocket and Fit Integrity on Stretch Jeans but is also used with Rigid Pocketing to provide a 'Girdle' effect, pulling in the Tummy.

Once again the Traditional Back or Hip Pockets are normally found on more expensive Jeans but are more common now with low cost production available.
