Victor Banerjee was the handsome Dr Aziz Ahmed in Director David Lean's "A Passage to India". For this he was nominated for the BAFTA award and won a couple of other awards.

Bangalore Club, with its colonial interiors, was one of the shooting locations for the film. As members of the club, we were able to get to watch. I managed to get close enough to the actor to get his autograph. I also got David Lean and the actress Peggy Ashcroft to sign.
