My mom and I were walking near the Jayanagar 4th Block shopping complex. While crossing one of the roads, we were pleasantly surprised to see Girish Karnad, clad in his customary khadi kurta, crossing with us. Once on the other side, he knew he had been recognised when I stopped him to tell him what a good actor he is (which I suppose he already knew!). I also scrambled in my backpack for a paper and pen and requested him for his autograph.
