Swapnasundari's autograph is the first "guest" autograph featured on this autograph website today (6th March 2014). The original autograph is with my friend Radhika Ayachitula. Radhika had got Swapnasundari's autograph when "the Queen of Kuchipudi Dance" visited her school in 1989. When Radhika got to know that I collect autographs, she did so want to give me this one she had, without losing it herself. Thanks Radhika!
Along with a scanned copy of the autograph, Radhika wrote, "I am sending you Kuchipudi Dancer, Swapnasundari's autograph which I got on 3rd Feb 1989. She had come to my school, Delhi Public School, Noida for a performance that was organized by our school dance teacher, Mr. Prabir Dutta who is her disciple. Her performance was so captivating and she looked majestic in a pink costume. Being a student of dance, I could not stop myself but run after her to interact with her and then got her autograph on a piece of paper that I tore from my almanac."
