It was 1992 and Prince Charles and Lady Diana were visiting India. During his visit to Bangalore, Prince Charles was going to address businessmen, inaugurate the new premises of the British Library and attend a luncheon at the Bangalore Club. Only a few chosen members of the club would get to really meet him. My dad requested one such privileged member to get Prince Charles' autograph for me, and he did! On a blue Bangalore Club memo.
