《通識教育學刊》論文寫作格式
壹、來稿中英文不拘：
來稿中英文不拘。英文稿件（含注釋）請間行打出，中文稿件請自左至右橫寫。論文請附中英文標題，300-500字以內之中文摘要、200-500字以內之英文摘要以及關鍵字（keywords）。中英文摘要須包含研究目的/問題、研究方法、重要發現或結論、研究原創性/價值、研究建議等；關鍵字以不超過5個為原則，並依筆劃順序排列。
貳、來稿首頁需載有事項：
一、中英文論文題目
二、中英文作者姓名
三、中英文所屬學術單位之正式名稱
四、中英文論文摘要
五、中英文關鍵字
六、詳細通訊地址
七、聯絡電話
參、請用新式標點符號：
「 」（引號）用於平常引號；
『 』（雙引號）用於引號內之引號；
《 》用於圖書名及期刊名，如《通識教育學刊》；
〈 〉用於論文及篇名，如〈《通識教育學刊》論文寫作格式〉。
唯在正文中，古籍書名與篇名連名時，可省略篇名符號，如《淮南子．天文篇》。若為英文，書名請用斜體，篇名請用“ ”。中文論文撰寫時，行文間符號一律使用全形；英文論文撰寫時，行文符號一律使用半形。底注與參考書目，中文資料標點符號使用全形；英文資料標點符號使用半形。
肆、分段與引文：
一、中文採新細明體，必要之引述採標楷體；英文、數字採Times New Roman。
二、每一段第一行縮排2字元。
三、直引原文時，3行以內可逕入正文，外加引號「 」，達4行以上，須另行抄錄，每行須縮排3字元。
伍、子目：
中文請依壹，一，（一），1，（1）之順序標明；中文圖表編號請用圖1，表1。
英文請依I，A，(A)，a，(a) 之順序標明；西文圖表編號請用Figure 1，Table 1。
陸、英文長摘要呈現說明：
一、獲本刊通知接受予以刊登之中文稿件，敬請作者再行繳交含適當引註之 Extended Abstract（英文長摘要）一份，始予刊登。
二、請作者提供已編修之1,200～1,500字英文長摘要（圖表與參考資料不計），需請作者自行負擔編修相關支出，英文字型請採大小11，Time New Romans。
三、英文長摘要的呈現，要能夠完整地呈現研究內容，包含研究動機與目的、文獻探討、研究方法、研究結果、討論與建議等資訊。
柒、本刊接受兩種注明出處之方式：
一、引用格式
通識教育是大學教育的核心，涉及多元化及包容的領域，作者可採MLA格式或APA格式，請擇一遵守，相關引文格式可參見「捌、參考書目及文獻」。
二、注明出處方式
務必確認內文注、引用的資料與「參考書目」所列的內容一致。
(一) 採腳注（footnote）方式注釋
如為對整句的引用或說明，注解符號用阿拉伯數字上標標示，寫在標點符號之後。如屬原文引用且引文超過30字，須用獨立引文方式處理，獨立引文
需縮排3字元。
範例：
根據朱熹的注解，「不器」這兩隻字其實已涵蓋了反對專才的通識觀念：器者，各適其用而不能相通。成德之士，體無不具，故用無不周，非特為一才一藝而已。1
儒家的通才教育觀對後世有深遠的影響，2 直至清末的京師大學堂，基本上仍然以「端正趨向，造就通才」為鵠的。3
(二) 正文中引用文獻，MLA 格式遵循「作者 頁面」內文引用法；APA 格式遵循「作者 年份」內文引用法。
1. 作者名屬於行文一部份時。如：
MLA：羅常培曾指出……（頁268）。；Naomi Baron, reading is … (194).
APA：羅常培（1930）曾指出……；Baron (2013)
2. 作者名不屬於行文一部分時。如：
MLA：（羅常培 頁268）；（Baron 194）
APA：（羅常培，1930）；(Baron, 2013)
捌、參考書目及文獻：
全部參考書目及文獻必需是正文中引用過之文獻，不得列出未引用之文獻。文獻順序以中文文獻在先、外文文獻在後；翻譯文獻若為中文譯本則列於中文文獻中，英文譯本則列於外文文獻中，排列依序為中文文獻、中譯本、外文文獻、外文譯本。中文文獻依作者姓氏筆劃順序排列，外文文獻則依作者姓氏字母順序排列。中外文獻第二行中文縮排2字元，外文縮排4字元。不論使用何種方式注明引文出處，均請於文後以下方式列出參考書目，若有未列出之資料形式，請參照MLA（第九版）與APA（第七版）最新版格式：
