La Divina: The Last Interview of Maria Callas (Live performance): Is a one-woman show written and performed by Shelley Cooper, directed by Mariangela Chatzistamatiou, and accompanied by Dr. Ross Osmun. It is inspired by the life and work of the Dramatic 20th Century Opera Singer Maria Callas. The show runs 60 minutes, contains stories of Callas' life and famous iconic arias that Maria Callas is known for singing. The audience eavesdrops on La Divina’s interview with a nonexistant Mr. Wallace and are taken on a journey through trauma, allowed glimpses of an extremely complex and tormented woman, and treated to some operatic gems including “O Mio Babbino Caro”, “Habanera”, and “Vissi d’arte”. La Divina has been performed at Orlando Repertory Theatre (USA), The International Performing Arts Institute (Germany), Bangkok Theatre Festival (Thailand), and KAD Performing Arts Center in Chiangmai (Thailand).
