Bill J. Adams

Not all roles demand belting, but you want to know how! Using techniques from the Estill Voice Training System, Adams will use workshop participants to explain and demonstrate healthy belting and how to perform the various musical styles required of the professional singer. The singing techniques discussed and practiced in this workshop are used by Tony Award winning artists and professional singers worldwide. Learn how to retract and belt with confidence.

This workshop provides a pedagogic overview for students, teachers, and performers of basic vocal technique and a demonstration of how vocal physiology affects characterization choices. In Estill, all voices are trainable and there is no aesthetic bias; therefore, singing (communication) is freely expressed and lyric interpretation is stronger.
