IUGTE Performing Arts Conference 2021

Organized by IUGTE in collaboration

The conference working language is English.

The program includes practical workshops and seminars, performances and works-in-progress, photo and video presentations, interactive lectures, research papers, discussions and more events.

- to exchange experience and share ideas in contemporary performing arts education and training, rehearsal processes, performance practices;

- to become familiar with diverse methods and techniques in contemporary performing arts inspired by the world traditional heritage;

- in a short amount of time get an introduction to the most up-to-date performing arts topics, techniques and practices;

- to meet colleagues from all over the world, establish new contacts and lay the foundation for future networking and collaboration in a multicultural and multilingual artistic environment.

The conference meeting is highly recommended to performing arts practitioners and researchers from different countries and disciplines

who are interested in the practical research of how traditional methods are or can be applied to the contemporary performing arts works!

Participants of the conference can be:

performing arts academics, arts educators and teachers, performers of various genres and techniques, theatre directors, dancers and choreographers, arts administrators and producers, musicians, stage designers, costume designers, mask makers, multimedia artists, scriptwriters, playwrights, theatre critics, arts journalists and artists who are interested in sharing, creating and exchanging with like-minded professionals from around the globe!

CERTIFICATE

Students can receive the Certificate of Participation in this Conference upon submitting the detailed creative report/essay (1500 words) after participation in this intensive workshop.

The accommodation for the participants can be organized at the guest house of the beautiful 13th century Laubegg Castle, situated in an idyllic setting south of Graz, in Styria region, "Green Heart" of Austria.

Everything is organized on the same territory: creative space and full board accommodation, so that participants can concentrate on creation and communication without any distractions of the routine necessities.
