Amazon Tips

Force Amazon to Offer a Promotion

This is something that I have tried from time to time but doesn’t always work, but it’s worth a shot. It’s a hit or miss kind of a tactic, but it has been known to work. What you need to do is sign into your Amazon account and shop around as you normally would and add the items you want to buy to your cart. But don’t buy them; just leave them there. Next, sign off leaving those things right where you left them and go back to your account in a few days. Amazon will surely send you an email reminding you of the items you left behind and may even offer a promotion, encouraging you even more to buy those things.

Amazon’s Today’s Deals

You can also find some great deals and save some cash in Amazon’s Today’s Deals section. Click on that section, and you will have access to the deals that Amazon has for that day. If you want to see the cheapest deals first, just click on the “Sort By” section and choose how you want to see the deals.

Follow the Price of an Item

A must-have tool to save big on Amazon is The Camelizer – Price Tracker for Chrome, and Firefox. With this tool you will be notified when the price drops for that item you have always wanted. This tool will save you time since you won’t have to waste time checking to see if the price has dropped every day.

Amazon Warehouse Deals

How would you like to get a digital camera for fifty percent off? Who wouldn’t, right? That’s what happened to one user, and he got that great deal here in Amazon Warehouse Deals. The reason he got such a great deal was because the box the camera came in was damaged. That’s it – 50% off for that. Sweet deal! You, too, can get ahold of such great deals here at Amazon Warehouse Deals.

The Two Browser Amazon Trick

Did you know that Amazon will show a different price if it thinks you are a non-Amazon customer? Yup, Amazon will show the regular price for a product if it thinks you are a regular customer because it knows you will pay if you like what you see. But, if it thinks you’re not a regular Amazon shopper, it will show you a lower price to try and get you to buy.

First, log into your Amazon account and do some shopping around, Find something you like, but don’t buy it. One you’re done, open Amazon on an entirely different browser, one Amazon on Firefox and another Amazon on Chrome. Don’t forget to clear the cache and cookies to start fresh. This may not work all the time, but it does from time to time.
