Psalms 22 is a great refutation of the Islamic narrative of Christ, they claim he was never forsaken by the Father, never crucified, never resurrected, that he was caught up to heaven avoiding it all. They even claim there is no prophecy of the cross and resurrection.
Psalms 22 debunks the islamic theory and proves the cross and resurrection to be true. It is also a prophecy. It does this by providing a historical picture of narrative story telling.
"My God My God why has thou forsaken me."
It isn't tenable to say Jesus was protected and not forsaken. The prophecy itself describes how Jesus is forsaken. Jesus cries this on the cross. Jesus was allowed to be captured and put on trial for blaspheme, for claiming to be God's son and making himself equal with God. This placed him above Moses and Abraham. The Jews couldn't accept that.
So, a picture of the trial and crucifixion is presented as the "bulls of bashan have encircled me"
I am poured out like water and all my bones are out of joint; my heart is like wax, it is melted within my breast. My strength is dried up like a potsherd and my tongue sticks to my jaws; you lay me in the dust of death. They have pierced my hands and my feet.
A poignant description of the messiah, and no it wasn't king David or Solomon who never died such a death.
The resurrection is then described when Jesus is singing in the congregation in John 20 after his resurrection.
Psalms 22:22
I will tell of your name to my brothers; in the midst of the congregation I will praise you
This alone debunks the Islamic narrative. How could he stand in the congregation if caught up straight to heaven without death? Their story is a lie.
PsalmsĀ 40 reminds us to trust in the Lord and avoid the Lie.
blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust, who does not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after a lie.
