This is a picture of my late Dad Ted.

His name was William Edward Lees and he was born on 1 January 1927 and died on 31 December 2001, just one day short of his 75th birthday. He divorced from my Mother Jill in 1974, and they had five children, including me.

My Dad went to Palestine just at the end of World War Two and served in 'Red Beret' Parachute Regiment. He stayed there and oversaw the creation of the State of Israel, before returning home and marrying my Mam Jill. They married in 1951 and had my twin sisters Jill and June that year too. My brother was born in 1953 and my sister Karen was born in 1955.

My Dad worked as a miner until ill health forced him to retire early in 1984.

This is a picture of my stepfather Mac.

His name is Richard Arthur McMurdo and he was born in 1943. He was married to his first wife June and he had three children with her before they divorced. He remarried to my Mam Jill in October 1976. They were going to have a child but my Mam miscarried in 1977.

My stepfather has quite a lot of illnesses to contend with, besides my mother's dementia and he soldiers on. They both live on the East Coast and go caravanning in their next village for their holidays.

This is a picture of me with my eldest sisters Jill and June.

As you can probably tell they are twins and was born in June 1951. Jill is the eldest of them both ny 10 minutes. My Mam hadn't a clue what to call them because she didn't know she was having twins until she was giving birth! There wasn't no scans in those days. As she didn't know what to call them, she named the eldest one after herself and June after the month she was born in.

Jill has four children, however her youngest son Jeremy, died of cot death when he was just three months old in November 1977. She also has six grandchildren, and there is a great grandchild on the way.

June has five children. Four with her first husband Michael. They divorced and June had a long term relationship with Ian and they had a girl. She has 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

This is a picture of my brother Kevin.

He is the eldest son of my Mam and late Dad, the other son being me, and he was born in February 1953.

Kevin married his wife Sandra in 1981, on my Mam's 48th birthday. They had their first child, Katrina, in August 1982 and their son Kelvin in April 1982. They have two grandchildren by Katrina and her husband Martin.

This is a picture of my sister Karen.

She is the youngest out of the girls of my Mam and Dad. Karen was born in May 1955, and she married in April 1974. Her first husband's name was Pete and they had three children in their marriage - two girls and a boy.

She is a grandmother to four children from her two daughters.

This is a picture of my sister-in-law Sandra.

She was born in January 1961 and married my brother Kevin in March 1981.

They have two children, Katrina and Kelvin, and they have two grandchildren with Katrina and her husband Martin.

This is a photo of my nephew Roy.

He is the son of my twin sister June and her ex-husband Michael. Roy was born on Christmas Day 1975, and he has four children with two different partners. Sophie and Hanah from his previous relationship and Bethany and Joshua with his current girlfriend Katie.

Roy is presently living with me because of my illnesses and difficulties. We are very close and he has lived with me on numerous occasions in the past.

He will do anything for me and his family and is a very thoughtful and caring lad - who puts other people first.

This is a picture of my 'honorary' nephew Liam.

He was born in April 1978, and I have known him through family friends since he has been a young child. He has three children with his partner.

He is a kind and thoughtful lad and will do anyone a favour if he is asked. He has a lovely personality and he is a pleasure to have around.

This is a picture of my nephew Kelvin

Kelvin is the son of my brother Kevin and his wife Sandra. He was born in April 1985, and he lives with his mum and dad, with his girlfriend of over a year Samantha.

This is a picture of my niece Jennine.

Jennine was born in June 1975 and is the youngest daughter of my eldest twin sister Jill and her ex-husband John. Jennine has four children with her long-term partner Darren, and Lauren, her only daughter, is expecting a baby girl sometime in 2010.

This is a picture of my niece Jennifer.

Jennifer is the middle daughter of my twin sister June and her ex-husband Michael. She was born in January 1975 and has one child, Ricky, who was born in November 1992. She was in a relatioship with his father Jay at the time.

She ucrrently lives with her present partner Smig and works for the local A&E hospital.

This is a photograph of my nephew and godson Christopher and his wife Diane, taken on their wedding day on Valentine's Day 2009.

Christopher was born in March 1972 and is the eldest child of my twin sister June and her ex-husband Michael. Christopher has six children in all - Natalie, Jamie, Laura, Christie, Aimee and Charlie. The eldest three are with his former partner Trish, Christie was from another relationship he was in, and Aimee and Charlie are the children currently with his wife Diane.

This is a picture of my great niece Charlotte.

She is the daughter of my niece Susan and her long-term partner Chris. Charlotte was born in August 1992, and his celebratinh her 18th birthday this year (2010). She is currently at college and works part-time in a well-known fastfood restaurant in her hometown of Sutton.
