Listed below are all the Kings and Queens of England, Great Britain and the United Kingdom since the Battle of Hastings in 1066, when William the Conqueror (King William I), Duke of Normandy, invaded and overthrew King Harold.  

Since that time, all monarchs have had as their title The Duke of Normandy, even Sovereign Queens. That title now includes our present monarch, His Majesty King Charles III. He succeeded the throne following the death of his mother, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, who died in 2022, aged 96 years old. The late Queen broke the record for the country, and world's longest reigning monarch, celebrating her 70 years of reign (Platinum Jubilee)  just three months before her death.
