World Cup 2010 in South Africa

Well the World Cup 2010 has got underway in Johannesburg, South Africa. Following a wonderful opening ceremony, the kick-off at 3pm (BST) started with the host nation South Africa versus Mexico. It ended in a 1-1 draw. The second game I watched between France and Uruguay ended in a 0-0 draw. This match was positively boring compared to the host nation's game.

Tomorrow, my country, England play against the United States of America, which promises to be an interesting game. Let's hope that the politics and rhetoric from US politicians against the British in regards to BP doesn't get in the way.
